Breakfast this morning with @ladyrosepixie, her brother, and the bro-friend that helped us move. They’re heading north today. Soon just us.
1st day at SOE over, and I don’t feel like a complete idjit. That’s for Monday, I have no doubt. Making brats for my gal to remind us of WI.
My first in-person meeting in half a decade went pretty well, I think. Now, to work.
First day is moving fast. Have a workstation with two monitors, though, so I know things are going to go well.

My brain really has no idea what’s going on, just going ‘dum-de-dum’ in a sort of happy stupidity. Just holding on till Friday, now.
Heading up to take a shower in a moment, hitting the road in about 30 minutes. It’s incredibly strange to reboot a life like this.
Up at 5am, an hour before everyone else, to pack the car with essential gear. Slippd quietly in and out of the house so as not to wake dogs.

The van is packed, gearing up for the last dinner in town. My brain has absolutely no understanding of what’s going to happen this week.
